Miyajma Hanare-no-Yado IBUKU — Hotel in Hatsukaichi

It is beyond my expectation. I was looking for ryokan on the way our road trip from Yamaguchi to Shimane. But it turns out to be one of the best ryokan in our trip. Simple, clean ,modern and spacious space of bedroom. I know it is not cheap but it worth for money. Meal are very delicious and innovative. The quality can meet 2 Michelin stars restaurant. Service are excellent. Property quite small which I like because not too crowded. They provide us semi private dining room. What I mentioned about modern is the " oxygen bath" which installed in every room. It is so nice and good for your skin. we can enjoyed onsen with delicate bubble like natural carbonated hot spring in Kirishima.This features of bathtub which I never had in luxury hotel in japan before eventhough modern bathroom in peninsula hotel.||They doesn't have public bath in hotel because natural hot spring has been connected to each room.But if you like to use big bath, you can go to opposite building bath house with free of charge. ||||I think it worth to stay in this hotel if you looking for a good quiet place to stay after your day trip to Miyajima or Hiroshima or your road trip from...

I stayed in one of the rooms in the annex and it was super spacious. The room was next to the train tracks and while the noise from the passing trains didn't bother me personally, it's something to keep in mind if noise is a concern for you. There's the main living room, bedroom, shower/bathroom, and outdoor area with the open-air bath. Zero complaints about the room itself.

Staff were very hospitable. Happy to answer my questions and very friendly in general.

The open-air bath was the main highlight for me. Incredibly relaxing to just sit and listen to the passing cars/trains and the sound of cicadas (I think?).

Food was another strong point. You will be well-fed from breakfast and dinner. Keep in mind there's a lot of fish dishes. Order drinks if you'd like and enjoy your meal in a semi-private room. You can hear your neighbors talk but I don't think it was distracting or anything.

I appreciated the shuttle from/to Onoura Station. Especially since it was raining when I departed. Parking space available if you drive. Communication for pickup was smooth via phone calls.

High end hotel not too far away from Miyajima.

The room had a private onsen and a jacuzzi. Very much spacious room for Japanese standards. Everything here justify the marks.

The Japanese breakfast might a little bit too much fishy for western guests but it was perfect for my non western tongue.

The only issue is the train passing by until 1AM and then will run again from 5AM. You will be waking up with the far from delicate sounds of the passing wagons.

The views from the room s balcony are I guess different but you ll have a blue sky while being soaked in your private...
