We stayed two nights at this hotel because we wanted to experience the relaxed atmosphere of Japanese Onsen. Both of the rooms have private sea view hot onsens, which were splendid. The rooms we stayed were : 豪華套房Konpeki 107㎡(禁煙)Rm603. Universal Suite Akane 112.6㎡(禁煙)。Rm 601. There are a few improvements the hotel should do:
We spent three nights at the hotel. When we walked in the lobby there’s huge disappointment as the hotel looks very dated and smelly - likely due to old carpet and furniture. I asked for a newer room. The reception was kind enough to show us some rooms where he said was renovated last year with additional cost. However we could not identify a big difference between the new vs old. We end up choosing a partly mountain partly ocean view room, despite our booking is for full ocean view. We open all the windows (even it’s over 35 degrees outside) as the room really smells bad with unpleasant odour. Also, the bedding has stain marks and looks quite gross. Service in general is okay. They don’t speak much English so thanks to Google translate. I line up at the reception to inquire about the shuttle bus back to station when checking out however they attend to the other customer who did not line up but Japanese speaking. Our booking includes breakfast and dinner. Breakfast buffet allows us to choose what we like. However dinner is set menu and unfortunately no choice or substitute - leave or take it. They offer dessert buffet after dinner and drinks throughout the day. The onsen is partly indoor and partly outdoor. Very dated and old fashioned. Really cannot justify as a 4-star hotel. As someone who value a great deal in modern decor and newly renovated rooms, I’d rather pay more and choose a newer built hotel. The hotel is ocean front however it is not a sandy beach that we can walk around. The hotel has free wifi which does not require a password. We arrive early at the Inatori station, earlier than the hotel shuttle bus schedule. As we needed food we decided to walk towards the hotel so we can get lunch before checking in. Unfortunately after 15 minutes walk under the hot sun we were wearing out quickly with our luggage. First time in Izu and really feel Izu hot springs resorts...
Read moreI had an amazing experience visiting Japan! We rented a Mercedes E250 from Xiao Hong Shu, which was definitely worth it for the freedom to explore at our own pace. Our adventure started with a flight from Singapore to Haneda Airport, just under seven hours. Picking up the car at Level 4 parking was smooth, and using Apple CarPlay made navigation effortless.
The drive to Fufu Kawaguchiko Hotel was quick and pleasant, taking only two hours on a clear highway with no traffic. The courteous drivers and friendly locals added to the enjoyment of the trip. After a relaxing night at Fufu, we continued to Jogasaki Coast and then on to Ginsuiso Inn, Inatori. Renting a car is a great choice—it really enhances the travel experience and saves time.
Hotel is amazing with ocean view!
The hotel was spotless, and the seafood meals were fantastic—very fresh! If you have any allergies or specific dietary needs, be sure to inform the staff in advance. Parking was generally free, although the ETC expressway fees were a bit high, which likely offsets the parking costs.
Overall, it was a fun trip, especially since we booked a private onsen room. Make sure to have fun and utilize Google Translate and Google Maps—they were incredibly helpful! Also, bring cash, as some places don’t accept cards.
Didn’t took much of the photo, as we rather enjoy the experience and lesser digital experience. Please google the hotel photo , I believe you will have better options...
