This hotel was the best we stayed in on our trip. It is on the pricier side, but worth it!
On arrival we were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji. We did book a room with a view and were able to see it from here also.
The room we stayed in, we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. So not very accessible. Staff did not offer to help.
It would be best to have a car when staying at this hotel as the walk from the reception to some of the villas is a bit far.
We were able to do washing for 300 yen per load of washing (max 4.5 kg) and dryer 100 yen per 30 mins. Safe to leave it and come back. It is located in the main area.
The restaurant they had was set course and they could not change any of the menu items to accommodate seafood free. There is the Marriot next to this hotel that you can catch a shuttle and dine there. Menu prices are expensive.
Staff were lovely and dropped wine glasses to our room on request as well as an ice bucket. There is an iPad in the room...
Read moreLoved the personal hot spring. Room was good but a little dim. Without a car you will find it hard to reach as hotel is at the top of a hill. The stay was overall satisfactory but my experience was dampened by front desk service staff Hiroki Endo. We checked in around 7/8PM and our check-in was handled by Mr. Endo, the process was smooth but the nonchalant and accusative tone he used must be rectified. We booked a room for two but in the system it said 3 persons, I don't know how this seems like an issue because if anything it means I paid for an extra pax. From there, his attitude turned cold and he wore an extremely displeased look on his face, his replies were less than satisfactory and massively brought down the high service standards of Japan. I was tempted to sound my displeasure but was too tired from the day to...
Read moreBeautiful hotel!!! Went during sakura season so it was way more expensive. But our room was “Mt. Fuji” view with dinner and breakfast included. Booked it through Expedia account and it’s exactly like pictures. I personally don’t think the dinner was worth it but the breakfast buffet is great with a huge selection. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there and we were unable to see Mt. Fuji. But the service was great. They have shuttle service to the hotel from a local station. As well as shuttle service to pick you up and drop you off around the resort. There is a beautiful garden and golf course on site with rentals. Would likely come back here on a more clear and warm time to...
