Hotel Marue — Hotel in Kamaishi

Visited this town last year in December with my friend and we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel!!

Although we stayed just for one night, we really liked the room, location and breakfast service included in our price.

Food was simple traditional Japanese options for a breakfast it was filling 👍🏻

Room is very comfortable, with an understandable small bathroom but with two separate beds, a desk, big TV and a mini fridge.

Bedding was the comfiest in our travel in Iwate! Very soft and warm comforter and a memory foam pillow💖

They also have a small roteburo at the hotel for just 2-3 people (female).

The whole vibe was quite retro and cozy, the location is good too, close to the railway...

Great value for money, with friendly staff who were very welcoming. Free bicycles on offer too, for touring the town! Stayed here while walking the Michinoku Coastal Trail - a good base for exploring Kamaishi and...
