This accommodation was even more comfortable than the impression I got from the website. The layout preserves the traditional Japanese-style architecture, while the interior has been beautifully renovated. The bath, restroom, and sauna were all very clean, allowing me to fully refresh both body and mind by alternating between the sauna and bath, releasing the stress of daily life.

I also appreciated having a kitchen where I could prepare simple meals. After enjoying dinner in Katori City, we returned to the accommodation for a second gathering, making light snacks to enjoy with local Japanese sake. Next time, I'd love to try the private chef service as well.

This space, refined yet somehow nostalgic, offers a perfect escape from daily life. It’s a place that makes you want to come back again.

Enjoyed the sauna immensely! It is, of course totally private and, according to the attached manual I set the temperature at my favorite 90 degrees and I was ready to indulge myself. The water bath is another favorite part, the water was cold ( I think I heard it was from the well) and very refreshing and relaxing. Would love to return...
