I can see the place where I was just 23 minutes ago below me. Hammock
Looking out over JR Rokkomichi Station from the terrace, I felt a strange sensation. This is a place about 700m above sea level on Mt. Rokko. You can clearly see the streets of Kobe, and you can even vaguely sense the cars and people passing by. However, this is a different world from the city. There must be a world in heaven.
If so, this is how it would feel.
As you arrive and leave the forest, a triangular roof suddenly appears. You can't help but exclaim in delight at the space, which feels like you've wandered into a small Nordic village. This facility, which opened in May 2023, is a nature resort specializing in food experiences that embodies "cuisine glamping". In addition to the main event dinner, you can enjoy an all-inclusive menu of high-quality nature experiences, such as having tea in a treetop bird's nest, becoming one with the forest in a hammock, and trying your hand at chopping firewood. Of course, the view from the room is breathtaking. The facility, which is constantly striving to "enhance the value of the guest's experience," is filled with countless details, from the angle of the triangular roof to the feel of the soil under your feet, to the experience menu during your stay. Enjoy a world where the boundaries between the everyday and the extraordinary are blurred in a...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of staying at NatureLive for one night during our honeymoon in September, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we were warmly welcomed and picked up at the cable car station, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The location is simply breathtaking, nestled on Mount Rokko with a stunning night view of Kobe that’s nothing short of magical.
Our accommodation was spacious and beautifully appointed, with high-end features that made it feel like a true retreat. The food was delicious, and a unique part of the experience is that you get to participate in the cooking process, guided by the attentive and skilled staff, adding a personal touch to each meal.
What truly made our stay memorable, though, was the dedication and warmth of the staff. A special mention to Aoyama-san, who clearly put a lot of thought and effort into creating the activities—he and his team were fully committed to ensuring we had an amazing experience. Each staff member we encountered was attentive and kind, making us feel like VIP guests.
We highly recommend NatureLive to anyone looking for an extraordinary, immersive experience in the heart of nature. It was a true highlight of our honeymoon, and we’re already looking forward to a...
Read moreTravelled to Kobe for 1 night stay and found this place as a recommended place and a must go place.
This place has it all. A breathe taking view. Activities planned when you get there at 3 pm (We did cup making and cutting wood) and also for dinner there will be a chief whom will cook with you and get you and your family involved.
For a pricing for four, 3 activities (if earlier dinner), 2 in afternoon and 1 at night and breakfast is served as well. Pricing is relatively reasonable and a must go if you would like your parents to live a life.
Great place for family. Good food (at night have Kobe beef and Salmon) and great activities planned...
