After a long day shopping at the Mitsui Outlet Park Jazz Dream Nagashima, this was supposed to be a quick 36 minute drive. It however took us nearer to 2 hours, since the nearest exit from the tollway (as per Google Map directions) only allows for ETC (and not cash) payment. We were going round in circles and finally had to change the setting on Google Map to exclude all tollways and travel by the secondary/back roads instead. This delay almost made us miss dinner, which was average (and rather disappointing, since I had booked the most expensive one).||||Service at the restaurant and front desk were however good and we were even escorted to our rooms. The room was oldish but very spacious and quite. The onsen was nothing special but had an outdoor area, which was nice.||||When leaving, we encountered the same problem trying to get on the tollway (again, the closest exit only accepted ETC) and we spent an extra hour doing so.||||That said, this is a reasonably priced hotel that is conveniently close to the Mitsui Outlet Park Jazz Dream Nagashima, but unless you have ETC, my advice would be to find someplace...
Read moreThe location of the hotel is a short easy walk from the Yunoyama station. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was very good. The conversation with the staff in English and my few Japanese phrases was a bit rocky, but fun. It was my first time to choose a Japanese style room, so maybe I was not informed very well. But it didn't have a shower, even though it seemed to say so on the booking website. Fortunately, we could change to a Western style room. The room quality, however, was so so, as the Japanese say.
