If you need a getaway from everyday life, this is definitely the right place! Highly recommended for healing. We stayed for two nights. All employers were very kind, Ryokan rooms were spacious and very clean. Private indoor and outdoor hot spring tubs with excellent quality spring water. The water healed my skin and body. Indoor spring tub needs a little bit of renovation. Breakfast and dinner were quite good to me. Three kinds of complimentary soju teasers(barley, rice, and sweet potato) were served at dinner. Each one had own flavor and taste. It was a fun to having the different tastes. They provided shuttle service by appointment. I do not speak Japanese but experienced no difficulties in...
Read moreIt was very good to stay in Room 35. It has a large space and two pools. The ventilation is very good. The only drawback is that the bathing area has signs of use and the interior of the room also has a sense of age, but overall it is comfortable. This time the package comes with dinner and breakfast. The dinner is about 70% suitable for the appetite, and the breakfast is about 50%. The dining room environment is very good. The service staff are also very kind and polite, and they can speak English.Overall, it costs NT$10,000 a night, with one hotel room and two meals. I happened to stay at Yufuin’s Kai for one night during this trip. In comparison, this hotel with a full meal has a...

From the private pools, to the kimonos that are provided, and the elaborate meals where you don't know what you're eating half the time. Staff at Hanamura was super welcoming and even spoke enough English to not make everything awkward (yes I know, we should speak Japanese when visiting the country...
