Read moreWe were going back home from Miyakojima in Okinawa prefecture through Narita first week of August and had to wait for a connecting flight. With three spare days, we decided to pick a place further away from Tokyo which we considered safer during COVID. ||||It was a pleasant 2 hour drive going through many rice paddies and a long sea coast to reach the hotel driving from Narita. Obviously there weren't many guests in this big hotel during this period but I was glad that basically all services were still up and running with only some minor modifications (like Japanese dinner was only served in the western restaurant). Food was excellent here, both western and Japanese. We kept coming back to the restaurant for dinner and for lunch and ended up having all our meals there! We have a lot of confidence with the hotel's COVID protocols and would rather stay in and enjoy the hotel as much as possible anyway.||||We love this hotel. It offers a personal touch. The staff and general manager Yamaguchi-san (who had previously worked in many world renowned luxury hotel chains) really looked after us during our stay. I would recommend anyone to come stay...
