島宿うぷらうさぎ — Hotel in Miyakojima

My partner and I just spent a wonderful two days at Uplausagi guesthouse, and I can recommend it wholeheartedly for any visitor to Miyakojima looking for a beautifully designed, spacious accommodation! Uplausagi is located very conveniently near Sunayama Beach, one of the nicest on Miyakojima, and just down the road from a very popular cafe and casual restaurant. Yoko and Naoki, the owners and managers, prepare beautiful and delicious breakfasts, included in the daily price, and will drive you to a very special local Okinawan restaurant for dinner, if you wish, and then pick you up after you are finished! The guesthouse is almost new, just two years old, and is kept in immaculate condition. Staying at Uplausagi provides a much more personal, authentic experience than a stay at a large tourist hotel, and you will also have the good fortune of meeting and getting to know the lovely couple who own...

Outstanding! Everything about our 5 night stay at Uplausagi was excellent: The hotel is right by stunning Sunayama Beach. Rooms are spacious and clean and have gorgeous baths. ・空港から車で15〜20分の距離です||　┗ 途中何も無くて不安になります。　砂山ビーチ入り口を左折！||・島一番の繁華街である平良の飲食街まではタクシーで片道1,000円程度||・東京から移住されたご夫婦がお二人で運営されるアットホームな宿です||・周辺に商店や飲食店の類は一切ありません||・最寄りのファミマまで車で５分程度ですが、歩いて行くのは無理ですね||・夕陽の絶景ポイントで有名な砂山ビーチまで徒歩圏内です||　┗ 夕陽タイムは周辺道路がレンタカーで大渋滞するので徒歩がオススメです||・お部屋の窓やお風呂から正面に伊良部島がドーンと見える絶景ポイントです||・深夜徘徊の周辺散策でヤシガニに遭える確率が高いです||　┗ 滞在中毎日遭えました||・特に宣伝されてませんが、ホタルの鑑賞ポイントです||・宿の周辺並びに室内含めてとにかく蚊が多い||　┗ 防虫剤や虫除けは部屋に常備ですが、虫刺され対策の薬は必携です||・20時以降は蚊が出ないのでベランダで満天の星空鑑賞がオススメです||・アルコールの提供は無いので、ファミマでの事前購入をお忘れなく||・家猫では無いですが、野良猫が３匹居着いて（実質飼い猫）います||　┗...
