Came here on a short business trip. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating! They helped me route my trip to bus stations and times. The buffet breakfast was delicious! There were many options including Western and Japanese, especially for non-meat eaters.
The best parts of the hotel are the location and the onsens. About a 15-minute walk from the station and directly across from the bus station, it is very easy to travel towards the coast or explore the city's central area.
The onsen and sauna were amazing! There are 3 different types of onsens: hot, cold, and outdoor. If you are a foreigner and have tattoos, ask the staff if it's okay for you to cover up. Depending on the size and how many you have, they will most likely allow you to use the facilities.
As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a free half bowl of ramen around 9:30-11:30 PM and free cover from 3:00-5:00 PM.
I could not have imagined a better stay for my short time in Miyazaki! If you are in the area, I highly recommend it. I hope to make it back here in the...
Read moreHusband and I were having a road trip in the southern part of Kyushu, and we have had one night stop over at Miyazaki town centre. This hotel is actually quite new and we were kind of impressed as we have stayed in other Dormy Inns across the country before and this is one of the best. The car park is simply by the hotel and is easy access. You just have to take the ticket and present to the hotel front office and the staff will advise the parking fees etc. The public bath is on the top floor of the hotel, both indoor and outdoor. Not too big not too small and not too crowded, a perfect spot to relax after a long day. If we would visit Miyazaki again, we shall probably stay in this same hotel again. One last thing btw, there’s some walking distance from hotel to Miyazaki Station. Not sure if it would be a perfect spot for traveler traveling by train. Please consider it...
Read moreDuring our stay in October, we spent three nights at Dormy Inn Miyazaki. The hotel is perfectly situated in the city center, making it easy to access nearby restaurants and shopping malls.
One thing to keep in mind is that parking comes with a nightly fee, and there is no elevator in the building. It’s a good idea to unload your luggage first before heading to the parking area.
The hotel offers a fantastic onsen and self-laundry services on the top floor. It was convenient to do laundry while relaxing in the onsen, saving us time during our stay.
Additionally, I had a company call while at the hotel, and I was impressed by the excellent Wi-Fi and the comfortable lobby area, which helped everything run smoothly.
Overall, Dormy Inn Miyazaki offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and useful amenities...
