Takashimaya — Hotel in Miyazu

Petit but warm and neat

We have the fortune to stay for a night in early March 2024 (I think we booked the last room via jalan) This is a small hot spring hotel run by a group of ladies. They are all very nice and friendly. The food served was superb- both food quality and staff services was 100%. FYI we booked プラン名：客室または貸切部屋でズワイガニ2杯と対決！？一番人気！！カニコースプラン♪ That’s not 間人蟹and I honestly not sure about the differences but this is already very good

I was sick the last morning and the staff was super warm and friendly and really made us feel like home. Thank you very much for hosting us. Hopefully we can bring the kids next time =]

Hot spring area is small - 2/3 friends together is max I think Looks like newly renovated - rooms and hot spring area is clean and neat Location: not hard to find - both driving and walking from the station is easy, there’s a big department store close...

Stayed here in early October 2025. Miyazu is a lovely town, and this Ryokan is a perfect match with Miyazu. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and we felt like we were visiting a nice friend's place, rather than paid lodgings. The rooms were spotless and fresh, and the futons were comfortable. The bath wasn't big, but was clean and comfortable. We slept very well there. The breakfast in the morning was delicious Japanese inn style, with some fantastic seafood. I hope I can visit there...

Good:||- excellent services, you won't surprise why this hotel has good customer rating||- the owners are very friendly and helpful, they know simple English and they have handout to explain the detail in English||- Dinner set with many many crabs dishes (we stayed in crab hunting season) ||- Close by a shipping mall and other sight seeing location||||Bad: ||- Hot spring is quite small||||Recommend for traveler if you want to taste the traditional japanese dishes...
