Since the hotel advertisement room charge rate was expensive, I expected excellent outcome in everything. I have been traveling all around Japan since I have been here for about 20 years so I know what to expect in a hotel with 52,000 yen in two nights.I booked because in the advertisement looked good but it is not. Very old and not much amenities. It is more like a big hostel not HOTEL. Very expensive with NO BREAKFAST INCLUDED.Disappointment#1. I emailed them if We can check in anytime since I am coming from other prefecture. I was not able to check my email until we reached the hotel an hour earlier. I asked again but they said no. In other words I abided. We stayed in the lobby. In few minutes, they started calling other groups of people to check in and they approached ask after everyone checked in ! Disappointment#2. No breakfast! 52,000 yen rate. Breakfast not included. First it was not specify in their advertisement!Disappointment #3. The room smelled bad.Disappointment#4. The toilet washlet not working properly.Disappointment#5. Before going to our room, I asked about the restaurants around the area and in fairness the lady was very accomodating and gave me the lists of good restaurants and cafe’s by the hotel. We were so excited to explore the place just to find out that all the said restaurants are no longer operating! We found convenient stores but too far from the hotel. For two nights being outside just to eat and buy our breakfast go the next day was very disappointing , really. Disappointment#6. Not recommended especially for foreigners.I tested how far they can be accomodating and helpful.* I asked in my email if they can tell me the rules and regulations about their onsen located on the last floor because in the advertisement it was really one of the highlights and also my reason why I booked this hotel. No reply ( first night) No reply. (2nd night)* It was just my idea to test them how far they can be hospitable especially to foreigners. I know they speak english very well because they replied in english in my previous emails and most of their front desk people speak well in english too.Disappointment#7.The roads around the hotel have NO STREET LIGHTS! It is scary. It looks like a GHOST TOWN to me. I
Disappointment#8 One of the Hotel Amenities advertisement is WITH INTERNET PROVIDED IN ALL THE ROOMS
WRONG! Internet provided only in the HOTEL LOBBY Internet is not working in every room
Disappointment #9 Shuttle Bus is not specified in the advertisement The location of the hotel is very remote. So I asked if they provide shutle bus going to the hotel. They said NO BUS Upon checking out I found a shuttle bus in front of the hotel just to find out they have shuttle!!!!! We spent thousands of yen using public buses coming and to the hotel for 3 days because we were told that they dont have shuttle bus??? Honestly this hotel management was the worst I have experienced in my life! ! Racism exists.
STRONGLY NOT...
Read more||We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Kita Karuizawa, please see below our review and what my family and i had experienced.|||| ||||We would like to thank RCI for our wonderful and memorable stay in Japan. We booked Villa Kita Karuizawa L-Wing in Nagano area last May 20-24, 2019. My family and I, were able to enjoy the experience of both nature and city. It was so peaceful in that we were able to relax. The view of Mt. Asama from our windows woke us up with smile on our faces. Also, when we get there in Kita Karuizawa, the weather is cold which we prefer the most because it was hot and summer season back in the philippines.|||| ||||Regarding the location, it was a bit far from the Karuizawa Station. Good thing there is a shuttle service from the hotel that we were able to use. It took 30-45 mins to get to the hotel from Karuizawa Station. It was great because the Karuizawa Prince shopping plaza is just across the station which has an outlet for shops. We were also able to go to Tokyo and visit Disneysea with my husband and 2 children and also we went to see Mt. Fuji in the Kawaguchiko area.|||| ||||Dont miss this thing do in the property and try the Onsen on the top floor of the hotel. It is overlooking Mt. Asama. It was really relaxing and it was our first time to do it so it's a wonderful experience. We also liked that the amenieties are complete in there, there's a vanity area. and vendo on the same floor where we get cold drinks to feel very refreshed.||||We would like to thank the employees of the hotel who showed us great hospitality, from the shuttle van driver to the receptionist and the staff of the restaurant when we had dinner (the food is really awesome! we tried the yakiniku - grilled meat). We appreciated their effort to assist us in the best way...
Read moreThe food is delicious, good staffs. They have 7-11 shop about 8 mins by car. I bought food from 7-11 and in the morning I warmed it on the 1st floor at resort. Every room can see good view of mountain especially on high floor. They have tennis court. It’s about 30-40 mins to drive to Prince Shopping Plaza in Kusatsu. It’s very huge outlet. From the resort drive to many attraction places such as Onsen takes 20-40 mins. If you want to stay here, I recommend you to rent a car. So it’s more convenient. Amenities in room have everything except a shower cap and body lotion. On 13th floor which have Onsen and sauna room have everything such as BB cream, cleaning, moisture lotion, glucosamine cream for pain, etc. I would recommend you to stay in...
