The only good thing about this place is its location, everything else is bad.
At night you can see stars nicely and during the day it has a vast open view towards the hills where lavander fields are.
We stayed in a cabin, dead bugs everywhere, didn't have a thorough cleaning in a long time. The so called kitchen area is not fully separated by the toilets so it has a disgusting smell. The toilets as well are very smelly, windows are always locked since they lack insect mesh and are rarely cleaned.
The showers are dirty, probably never cleaned.
The rabbits are sick, someone needs to inform the authorities so they come and inspect. I don't recommend touching them or entering their cage, it seems they have some sort of bugs that affects their fur and some have a more serious skin condition. Needless to say they are poorly treated and need a vet to offer medical care. We went one time and all water bowls were topped over and rabbits had no drinking water on a considerable hot day. When we filled the bowl they rushed to drink.
Considering the very low cleaning standards we skipped the Gengis Khan meal which seems to be very popular.
My recommendation is to skip this place until they do significant improvements to their amenities and cleaning standards.
Also, as other mentioned, black flies are around so wear protective clothing especially at sunset if you happen to stumble upon this place.
As alternative, Hinode Park nearby has very nice bungalows (we found them accidentally while seeing the night lights show) for much cheaper price or a bit further next to the blue pond there is another camping site with local administration which has...
Read moreMy review is solely based on staying in a cabin which was awful.
The place was crawling with spiders, the stairs to the second floor were cracked so we were afraid to go upstairs because even when my kid went on them we thought the whole thing would collapse. There are blankets and pillows provided but mine had what looked like cum stains on them 🤮 I used my own pillows and blankets since obviously besides giving you clean sheets and pillowcases nothing gets washed between guests. The wooden porch step was broken and makes it very easy for someone to injure themselves.
There are flushable toilets, an area to wash dishes, a shower (I did not use it so I can't comment on the state of it), sheep, bunnies who need a vet because some of their legs are broken 💔 and we go to see a deer up close.
My husband and son were extremely bitten up by the black fly so make sure to wear long pants at all times.
Overall I would say camp here but use a tent and do not waste your money on a cabin like we did and...
Read moreGood location to nearby town, shops, good view of field and starry night. But the owner simply has no care for this place, stayed in the bungalow for 5 nights, smelly toilet, kitchen is next to toilet full of bad odour. Bungalow is not cleaned in between guests, dead insects, rubbish paper under bed, bedding is not changed nor cleaned at all, door has no lock, couldn't even close properly. Many insects, so many blackflies are around. Rabbit may sound like a cute attraction, sadly they are kept in bad conditions, short of clean water and food, some of them are injured, one has tummy skin bleeding and it seems like there's an infection among them. This place is lack of care and basic cleaning standards, for 8000 per night, not worth it, not recommend this...
