Our stay at MITU was absolutely delightful. It is located in Inami, a small town renowned for its exquisite wood carvings.

The staff were warm and hospitable. And MITU was a perfect blend of tranquility and artistry, featuring a beautiful private garden. We were also impressed by the refined tableware handmade by local ceramic artist.

We would recommend this unique accommodation to anyone...

Vous recherchez une étape vraiment différente ? C'est ici. Vous avez l'impression que tout le village est votre hôtel. Des vieilles maisons traditionnelles de montagne au confort digne de cinq étoiles, redécorées par des artistes locaux, des ateliers d'artisans, une gastronomie à tomber par terre avec que des produits frais et une cuisine qui vient du coeur, ce temple tout sculpté au bout de la rue qui nous envoie direct dans une autre époque (oh faites sonner ce gong, le son est si beau). Bref, vous n'aurez plus envie de partir. Je ne vous raconte pas tout car un séjour chez Bed and Craft c'est plein de jolies...

所用で井波に訪問して宿泊しました。 夜はこの土地と日本海の恵みを堪能したあとひんやりとした空気と風情のある夜の街並みを歩いて優しい灯りが灯るMITUに投宿。 陶芸作家・前川さんの作品に囲まれ、一人の滞在には贅沢すぎる空間でした。 朝は日本家屋の陰影のなかで届けていただいた朝食を庭を眺めながら食べるこれまた贅沢な時間。 朝食後は瑞泉寺を目指して散策。八日町通りで木彫刻師の工房を覗きその精巧な技術に驚いたあと、瑞泉寺に到着してさらに驚くこととなりました。日本最高峰の木彫刻は自分の目で見に行くべきですね。 この宿での宿泊、町で見るもの食べるもの、至高の工芸・陶芸に触れ合う一連の時間が唯一無二の体験でした。
