We are a family of five with 2 young children and 1 infant. I have to say we were blown away by the service and standards of White Lamp Nasu. Honestly, I don’t even post such high reviews of accommodation but the service of the staff at White Lamp went over and beyond to assist us in our requests and it made our stay so wonderful, they really deserve five stars. We requested for a humidifier and they delivered straight up. We had to checkout very early on the last day at 7am and so we had to cancel breakfast and they packed a little breakfast set to take with us on the road. How sweet was that? Even though the staff was not well-versed in English, they did their very best to assist us with our enquiries. Breakfast and dinner was always promptly setup at the time we requested for.
Service aside, the accommodation was very clean, very spacious (we stayed in a superior tent and a universal tent), very comfortable, very new and amenities were all fully provided. The food (dinner and breakfast) was fresh and delicious and portions were so generous we had to ask for lesser portions so we don’t waste food.
It was really cold in December in Nasu but our stay was a great one, made possible only by the team at White Lamp. Thank you very much, we...
Read moreI visited the white lamp with my 2 young children and wife. We reserved "bubble room" no.9 which is barrier-free because I am on a wheelchair. Many resorts claim to be barrier-free but usually aren't. But White Lamp barrier-free cottage is truly barrier-free. From our car to the room, everything was very easily accessible and the only obstacle was 1cm high. The room is large enough to move with a wheelchair. The toilet is.wide.enough to enter with a wheelchair and the shower room is so large that it.can accommodate my wheelchair and a shower chair. The staff is very very nice and helpful and never made us feel that we were unwanted visitors.
You will find plenty of great reviews about the amazing food and service but I hope my review will help those with physical disabilities.
The only minor inconvenience was that I could not reach the fire area outside the room to burn marshmallows with my children. The step is too high for wheelchair access and hope they will consider this in the future.
This is highly recommended for families and people on...
Read moreI went here for a trip with my family, my grandparents wanted to go to a camp, but in terms of the age it was a little bit difficult to go to a real camp so we found this glamping. The room was very big and enough for 5 people. It was like a hotel but it had a barbecue out side and you could make a bonfire on there so that makes you feel like you were on a camp. Our room had two baths outside and a loft to see the stars at night. The food was delicious and had a very good quality. My sister also loved the room specially the marshmallow that were baked on fire. Also near the glamping there was a safari park so you could go there with your children so they don’t get bored. We would like to go there also...
