Oigami Onsen Toshu-kan — Hotel in Numata

The rooms were spacious. However, it was pretty cold at night and the central heating was already off. Te dinner was disappointing, food quality mediocre. The desert was a yoghurt from supermarket with two slices of strawberry. On top of that, during the dinner there was no staff and we weren’t able to order extra drinks even after trying to call the staff repeatedly. The staff was also unable to provide correct information about basic facilities. After explicitly asking we were told baths are 24 hours accessible and then we only learned we cannot enter for a morning bath because there is a cleaning time after 9am. Breakfast was also a disappointment. No drink selection (I was charged for coffee), food was bland. Bedding quality was also low. Thin cold blankets and very hard pillows that gave us sore necks the next day. The employees were really kind and the bath was pretty. However, there was an old tea bag inside of the teakettle and a spider inside of the dining area. Furthermore, the breakfast is only from 7:30.
