This hotel is less than 5 minutes away from the station. You can see the hotel from the station entrance so you cannot miss it and go the wrong way.| The reception is on Level 2 which is also the lobby ,there are 2 ways of getting there, either walk up the stairs or take the lift up which is easier especially if you have luggage.| The check in process was quick and the staff explained that we had a free voucher for a welcome drink at the restaurant. The staff also advised that there was a small laundry on Level 3 if need to do any washing.| We then went to our room and found it to be quite roomy and bigger than the usual rooms which was a surprise. The bathroom was big also so could move around easily. The room was comfortable and also had nice view of the distant mountains. | The laundry on Level 3 consisted of two washing machines which could wash and dry. It cost 500 yen for 5kg wash and 400 yen for a 1kg wash and 100 yen to just dry. You had to make sure no one else was using the machines before you wanted to wash yourself.| After settling in we went down to the restaurant to have our complimentary drinks. The staff member gave you a menu which told you which drinks were complimentary and then could order them. We chose the cappuccino and it was hot and creamy and it was very enjoyable. | There were quite a few restaurants within walking distance from the hotel so we're spoilt for choice and decide what you wanted. There was also a kitanoyatai just 5 minute walk from the hotel.| This hotel did not have complimentary breakfast so you need to go out to find a cafe.| All staff that I came in contact were friendly and went out of their way to help the best way they could. If I had a chance would return to this hotel and stay longer instead of two days as enjoyed this hotel...
Read moreI am a Japanese tourist and went around Hokkaido with a rent car and we stayed this hotel for one night with my wife and three naughty kids (7,4, 2 year old) in July 2018. My room was twin beds room. ||||The hotel is closed to Ohibiro JR station, a new hotel, spacious bed and room (you can open your big suitcase without any issue). You can park your car without charge if available. But, it is a little bit difficult to find out, so you need to go to the reception first. ||||Because I have three kids, I brought a sleepe bag for myself but I found my room was quite big beds if you moved two single bed together. You can find a special mobile phone in the room, which you can bring to outside and check map or call local and international call free of charge (it was the first time to see such mobile). From the hotel, you can find some restaurants and convenience stores nearby. We didn’t drop by the restaurant inside but it looks very tasty as I just checked what kind of food they provide. ||||Unfortunately, there is no public sauna in the hotel, which is only disappointing during stay but of course you can take bath inside the room. Because of summer season, the price is not cheap but affordable. It takes 10 min from the hotel to Banei hose race...
Read moreI stayed overnight here because I came to this city to attend the Obihiro festival. It’s very conveniently located next to the train and bus stations, and it was also where the festival was located. We were also able to walk about 5-10 mins to the the bars and restaurants. Right next to the hotel is a bus stop which we used twice so in terms of location, this place is 5/5! The service was professional, polite and at the lobby, there were nice gifts which they gave to the guests, such as face towels, facial masks, razors, bubble bath soaps, facial cleanser, moisturizers, all individually wrapped! When we stepped into the room however we were met with this musky smell and there was a humidifier in the room which made me suspect there might have been a problem but ours was the very last non smoking room so we couldn’t request a change. The room size was pleasant and the bathroom was bigger than usual. We stayed the night and it was very quiet despite it being located next to the train station.
The breakfast was AMAZING - totally worth the extra funds. It’s buffet style and they had Japanese and western style breakfast. I would say that the breakfast is the main attraction of our stay.
Thank you for such a...
