We were more than happy to support this incredible rejuvenation of the quaint and beautiful town of Ozu, which took unprecedented participation of the town government, its local people, property owners, and local stakeholders to revive over 30 historical buildings, infusing revenue to this incredibly aesthetic place. We were met with the most memorable experience; from the friendly welcome by the staff, to the absolutely photogenic everything, to the exquisite farm-to-table meals showcasing only top-tier local ingredients, and the smiles on the faces of everyone we met in the hotel, shops, and around town. If you are considering staying here, it is worth splashing out for. Go and be in tranquility and experience the serenity of Ozu, and do so quietly and compassionately for the sake of this wonderful project and for the lovely town...

This is one of the best hotels we stayed in on this trip to Japan. We were assigned to Yuki building. The front desk is in a different building close by. There’s also a parking lot for this hotel nearby. The hotel owns a lot of buildings in that historic area near the castle.

The rooms were beautiful. There was a shower and a bath attached to our room downstairs. The living room space and bedroom is upstairs. The stairs are quite steep - so it’s not suitable if you have some mobility issues.

There’s also a lounge with plenty of free alcohol drinks that is open until 10pm. The fridge in the room was also stocked with plenty of free drinks.

The staff were very nice and polite. The included breakfast was...

Absolutely wonderful, dreamy relaxing stay in the beautiful countryside town of Ozu. It’s really clever the way the hotel blends into the town seamlessly and if it weren’t for the awnings, you wouldn’t know where the town ends and hotel starts. Room was very luxuriously fitted out (giant hinoki bath and luxury toiletries) but kept true to the traditional building. Evening meal package is well worth it as the fusion Japanese-French food with local ingredients was very special. Highly recommend if you’re travelling through Ehime and...

An absolutely amazing experience well worth the price tag! You can truly feel like you've gone back in time here as the distributed hotel has renovated rooms/buildings spread out across the old castle town. Meals are first class, and the drinks in the lounge and your room minibar are all included. Staff were super polite and helpful from start to finish, guiding me through everything and giving me a brief tour of the facilities. Room was super clean and luxurious, with lots of amenities available.
