“Excellent ” Felt like a retreat stay, recharge stay
Meals: breakfast and paid dinner,(was served Miyazaki beef for first night dinner) along served with their local veg/herbs/meat/fish. Was a thoughtful preparation and well presented.
Check-in/out: smooth, no crowd at all, seems like there is only a handful of guests during our stay Room: huge in local context. Well equipped excellent clean guest room. No typical coffee maker, provided drip coffee with coffee filter and pour over makers with gooseneck kettle. It is so purposeful to slow down our pace of life to slip and enjoy the moment.
Location: is only reachable if take a cab or self drive. In a peaceful town ~ Asuka. Its location allows you to be away from hustle and bustle town and touristy area.
Staff: pleasant and helpful Laundry: yes there 5x coin laundry machines with lock feature
Will return again should Nara be part of my...

The building was quite new but it would better if USB outlets were installed in the room. Coin laundry could be found in the connected block. My plan included two meals. The dinner was of good quality and quantity. The steak was thick-cut and juicy. Breakfast was also good with unlimited drinks and bread. Staff were very polite and helpful though not all of them were English speaking. You can rent a bicycle or ebike to go around. I would recommend to those who love food and nature. If your tour theme is shopping in town, it may not your choice though it has a small...
Read moreWhat a wonderful experience I had! I only stayed here for two days, but I already feel at home. I will miss this place and the staff when I leave tomorrow. The room was impeccable and very comfortable, with modern amenities. I highly recommend renting their e-bike to explore the Asuka region; it's very easy to navigate the area. Walking is also a great option. This place is perfect for conferences and retreats as well.
Be sure to add breakfast and dinner—you won't be disappointed. The best part of this place is the staff. They were kind, patient, and knowledgeable, exemplifying "omotenashi," the gracious Japanese hospitality. I will certainly be back...
