Nihon Iro — Hotel in Shizuoka

My daughter, husband, sister and I recently stayed at the Nihon Iro, and it was an experience to remember! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and impeccable service. The staff at this hotel truly go above and beyond to ensure we feel special and were taken care of. For example, I wished I've asked for her name but she took us to our rooms and walked us through the house and showed us how to use the controllers for the AC.

The hotel is a blend of traditional Japanese aesthetics and modern comforts. The rooms are beautifully designed with attention to detail, offering a serene and relaxing atmosphere. I loved the minimalist yet elegant decor, which reflected the rich cultural heritage of Japan while providing all the conveniences of a luxury stay.

One of the highlights of my stay was the hospitality. The staff were not only professional and efficient but also genuinely kind and attentive.

Anyone staying here, should order the inhouse breakfast package. Nesrine Benali and her staff arrived on time and made one of the best breakfast we had since arriving in Japan. She walked us through each of the items and explained to us what it was and how to pair some of the dishes. It was a delightful experience, with a variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes. The quality of the food was top-notch, and a lot of thought had been put into the menu to ensure a memorable dining experience. Nesrine was helpful and hospital and she also drove us to the nearet train station.

Incredibly relaxing accommodations. The Japanese style homes are beautiful, comfortable, and very reasonably priced. We are a family of four, and each of us had our own bed. There are plenty of small restaurants and bars nearby. The best part is that the beach is literally a stones throw away from your house. They offer free bicycles, and we loved cycling around town. You can ask the front desk for a traditional Japanese breakfast, which we did. Two women came to our home in the morning and set the table and made the breakfast in our kitchen. I regretted booking only 3 days 2 nights. It was so comfortable staying at Nihon iro. Staff was nice, amenities were complete. They even provided some discounts vouchers for nearby eateries. We can even enter the spa for free. Too bad we had such a short stay, we managed to spend time at the beach enjoying some craft beef with some cherry beans fries. Life was great for 3 days.
