Beautiful surroundings by the shore of Lake Megamiko, good for taking a walk or jog around the lake ||+ Onsen has both indoor and outdoor areas ||+ Room was big with separate sleeping and living area, as well as a small kitchenette for self catering ||+ Good kaiseki meal ||+ Good service. Some service personnel able to understand english and mandarin well. ||||- Due to the large compound of the hotel, significant amount of walking and transferring from one lift to another / up and down stairs has to be done, which can be a little time consuming||- One small lift per building, making waiting time for lift slightly long||- Room slightly dated ||||Overall, a good place to stay in idyllic surroundings. Slightly longer walking distance and waiting times not an issue for a laidback...

A nice and lovely onsen hotel located quite far away from city area. I fall in love with the surroundings hotel grounds. Spacious lobby with piano and a small souvenir shop. Lake Megamiko is just nearby the hotel. ||||The lifts are extremely small & slow. We traveled in a groups so waiting for the lift is a bad experience. However the staffs helped us with the luggage even the female staff helped us to carry out luggage down the stairs.||Great customers service for that!||||Rooms are considered big, enough for 3 beds and a sofa area.
