GLAMP DOME SAYU — Hotel in Tottori

A very nice place to visit next to the Tottori sand dunes. It’s a bit cold in the winter but heater is available the dome. They provided BBQ for dinner of good quality and adequate portion. You can buy food from local supermarket for a BBQ grill too. The BBQ grill is in a separate room with air con and heater too. It would be better if the ventilation is stronger as the BBQ smell is really strong. Beer and other alcohols are available free flow. Breakfast was BLT and curry toast you can make with the grill. Coffee drip bags are available for with good roast flavour. It was sad that it was raining throughout our visit. It should be a very good place to see the stars if...

Four of the six domes has NO private shower room. The official website provides for choices between 2 beds, 4 beds or dog dome, but doesn’t specify private shower room or not. So better ask before you make a booking.

The wooden house (indoor bbq area) is rather small for four guests, and has NO curtain. The BBQ grill is very dirty. We gave up the BBQ and didn’t see or try their food.

The mattress is very hard. But this is very personal. Some may like it.

Some abandoned facilities outside the domes. Not much activities to do.

未就学児2名、乳児1名、大人2名で泊まりました。(獅子座のお部屋で、シャワー＆露天風呂付きにしました。)

部屋は広く、エアコンが2台ついており、ゆったりした広さと清潔感があり、すてきな空間でした。 寝ている間に子供がベッドから落ちてしまうことが心配かなと思っていたところ、スタッフさんから、マットレスとお布団の貸し出しのご提案があり、利用しました。グランピングに、マットレスが用意してあるところは珍しいと思い、柔軟に対応していただいたことに感謝しました。おかげさまで、 子供たちと夜もゆっくり休むことができました。

キッチンやトイレも自分たちのエリアの建物なので、プライベートが保たれ、小さい子連れでも安心して過ごすことができました。 (水回りがとてもキレイで、ホテルのようで驚きました。)

露天風呂は自分たちのタイミングで入ることができたのと、シャワーつきのお部屋にしたことで、子供達をお風呂にいれてから、ベッドに入れるまでがスムーズにで助かりました。

虫対策のスプレーや蚊取り線香まで備え付けてあり、お気遣いが嬉しかったです。

お食事には、キッズメニューがあり、焼きおにぎりや、フランクフルト、ハンバーグなどとても豪華でした。 大人には、大きなお肉や、鶏肉、キーマカレーや白米もついていました。どれもおいしく、お腹いっぱいになり大満足でした。

なんといっても、鳥取砂丘や、こどもの国からのアクセスが抜群なので、鳥取市周辺で遊んでいくファミリーにはぴったりのお宿だと思いました。 またリピートしたくなる...
