Though it may seem that the hotel is a bit old especially the exterior of the hotel, I really love the classic wooden architecture and interior of the room. I appreciate vintage more compared to modern so this hotel caught my attention. We were here during the Golden Week and decided to stay here for 5nights and I would say that the price is fairly cheap. The room is really spacious and is the biggest hotel room I’ve ever been to within Japan. It’s clean and they have all the ammenities you will need. We were on the 1st floor so we have access to the pool. It was very relaxing and quiet so we had the chance to appreciate the view and paint on the poolside. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor where you can have breakfast with a stunning view of the sea and the golf course. Staffs were kind and accommodated our breakfast request due to some allergies. From what I remembered, they only offer breakfast and lunch. We rented a car so we were able to go to some nice restaurants and izakayas nearby (because some restaurants are not accessible by foot). Not to forget, there’s a convenience store at the corner of the street before going uphill to the hotel. Overall experience was good. It was a nice place to sit, chill, relax and enjoy...
Read moreThis hotel is ok if you are looking for clean & decent accommodation at reasonable price in southern Okinawa. The hotel has a golf course and almost all the Japanese guests we saw either arrived or departed with their golf clubs. Cannot comment on the golf course coz we are not golfers ourselves. Our room, though dated, was good-sized and overlooked the golf course & the ocean beyond, which was very nice. It was especially pretty at night, when the moonlights were shimmering in the ocean (the moon looked so close outside our balcony). Buffet breakfast – limited variety but tasted good, and the breakfast area looked over the golf course/ocean as well. Negatives: the hotel is older and you need a car to access. Also it appears that there weren't any restaurants (or much of anything) in the neighborhood. Staff were friendly but their English very limited. But it is a very tranquil hotel with mostly Japanese patrons and very quiet & well-behaved foreign guests (at least during our stay), which we...
Read moreLarge rooms like we haven't seen before in all of Japan, friendly service and very good location, close to Naha, some really nice beaches to visit and with really nice views of the sunrise over the sea from the room. Pity our visit was out of season for the outdoor pool, as that would have been a plus. Breakfast was good, of good quality and sufficient quantity, served at the table as a menu. If life takes me to Okinawa again, I will definitely try...
