New Star Hotel Yamanakako — Hotel in Yamanakako

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night.||It's a very old hotel , some parts are clean , some are not. ||Like the carpet in the room were stained with patches, heater is not working, air-con is super old and dirty. ||||Issue is this hotel seems to operate and accept tour groups and happen during my stay, there's few groups of China tour. ||The food are those cheap buffet style where you have to be prepared for people not queuing for food. Don't expect Japanese style of dining.||Even the hotel staffs are mainly Chinese.||Onsen is a rather small pool and if you can , go later after 9pm for lesser crowd.||As you walk , watch out for pools of saliva everywhere. Seems like some people simply like to spit saliva everywhere they go. ||There's no wifi in the room or lobby but they have a wifi room so those who need wifi will have to go...

Stayed here for a night,first impression was this hotel is nice and cool,although if your in a tour group riding a bus,they park the bus and you go up to the hotel by shuttle cars that the hotel provides,also no elevator (be sure to bring a spare bag filled with clothes and leave your big suitcases in the bus),great dinner expereience food was nice and they provide you with a yukata ! Also a manual on how to wear it :) overall great experience only problem is the lavatory which is quite small for westeners/tall...

Rooms was cool ! Tatami bed and large room however the bathroom is quite unspacios for me, access there too was quite difficult,however we were given a shuttle from the hotel which was nice and time saving,considering the path to the hotel was in a top of a hill and the bus parking lot was at the bottom of the hill,dinner was delicious too !
