I had a terrible experience with this hotel. I came in one day before to explain my situation and was told by the receptionist that everything was fine and I could make a reservation. I booked confidently based on that.
However, when I arrived the next day, there was a different person at the reception who completely disregarded the agreement. He insisted that I had to take two rooms, even though I had already explained everything clearly the day before. When I told him I had already spoken to someone, he dismissed it rudely and said the previous guy was “new and doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”
This kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. If your staff doesn’t communicate properly or isn’t trained, it should NOT fall on the guest to deal with the consequences.
