Nef-Naf is amazing!||Our host Mohammed is very kind, generous and very friendly guy. Once you decide to come to this place to stay for one night or a week (for any reason) he will try to make your experience as much relaxing and memorable as possible.||The very location is perfect: on the top of mountain of Taibeh town, just 5 min driving from Wadi Musa and so as Petra museum. |The huge difference is that WM is very tourist-oriented, you’ll not find a place (coffeeshop/restaurant/supermarket) where people don’t try to charge you overprice as tourist :( and also veeery crowded hostels and hotels (so true), you’ll never feel treated well or special. ||In comparison Taibeh (and also Um Sayhoun) is very quiet place, with super smiley, friendly locals who always are ready to help you or advise smt, and dont mind to sell you anything with true prices as for citizens!||The house of hostel with its parking and terrace overlooks on spectacular rocky valley down to 300 m (“man, you can’t deny that view - in the night or in the day”). You can do hiking both - up to the peak or down to bedouins camps with sheeps and goats. ||Btw there’re only 3 rooms in the hostel, 2 of them for 2 persons just, so it’ll never be crowded (which is great)! Inside the house you can cook smt in the kitchen or make tea/coffee, safely put your meal to the fridge, bathroom with hot water (don’t have to turn on boiler) and you’ll have your towel (you know that it’s rare thing here). Everything is clean and prepared for guests with attention. |In the morning some invisible magician will prepare for you breakfast in the craft paper box :)|All the interior makes you feel much like at home, on the walls at the entrance there’re hundreds of funny notes and best wishes painted by travellers from different countries. ||You should definitely choose this place whether you’d like to go to Petra or just stay close to mountains...

Read morePetra NefNaf has amazing views and is in a pretty quiet location. Our room was very big, clean and modern looking, with a low, pallet wood bed. There was free parking for 2 cars in front of the guest house and free drink making facilities were available. The price of the room was really reasonable. |We booked an en-suite. I went in to the shower room to go to the toilet and was horrified to hear someone peeing next to me. I looked round and discovered that the shower room wall only went up about 7 foot and there was a big gap between the top of the wall and the ceiling. Obviously, there was another bathroom on the other side of the wall. This also meant that if we left our shower room door open at night and someone went into the other bathroom, you could see the light switch on and hear them peeing (or worse), as you lay in bed!|There were no towels or toiletries in the shower room. |The bed was comfortable - but the pillows were hard and the bed sheets were fleece. For cold blooded Europeans, this is far too hot. I only use fleece bed sheets when the temperatures drop below freezing. Take a cotton sheet sleeping bag with you if you prefer a cooler bed.|Breakfast...
