If you need a one night stay on a tight budget, this will do. If you don't have a car, this place will be more worth it since the owner goes back and forth for free. He's a good guy with good help.
Apart from that, I wouldn't recommend it. Below are the reasons why: The rooms and bathrooms are initially clean: However -the bathroom quickly floods with the first shower so it's hard to use after that. Hot water takes 3/4 minutes to work. Shower head broken in one of our rooms. Water in the sink comes out as a trickle if on the top floor. No wifi Nothing to keep you warm in the middle of the night so all of us woke up freezing no information on where the heater is or how to switch the heater on. No sign for the hotel
Extra offers: Tried their home made dinner, not great, would rather go out, but will be convenient after a long day. Tried their packed Petra lunch - not worth 5JD. Tried their free breakfast with a view. It was nothing special. Falafel and boiled eggs.
Because it was cheap and they seemed like good people, I'll accept it, otherwise I would have wanted a refund because of the shower head, little water on our floor, and the freezing cold night with no blanket.
I wish the owner the best of luck, and I hope he can fix these problems above. If he does, this place is fine. It's not fair to anyone to get sick from not having any...
Read moreI try not to write bad reviews, but here I think it’s necessary to tell about my impressions. and so on in order. 1) smelly towels, as if I washed them and forgot to take them out of the washing machine for about 6 hours. 2) a shower where I, with my height of 182 cm, could not wash myself properly. 3) terrible wifi that stops working every 3 minutes. 4) a huge price tag for a simply disgusting dinner, believe me, for that kind of money you can easily eat in a restaurant and it will be delicious, but here I didn’t even touch the food. 5) the owner of the living room is a rude and ill-mannered person who, after complaining about dinner, began to say that it was our fault because we asked him to make dinner faster, which, by the way, is also a lie. 6) in the booking he noted that we did not check into the hotel so that we could not leave a bad review. 7) in response to negative reviews on Google, it says that it is fake. What can I say, I highly do not recommend this hostel, if you are in Petra, avoid it so as not to spoil your impression of a wonderful trip. P.S. The only thing I want to thank is the sweet girl who works there as a cleaner, she was...
