I recently spent a memorable weekend at Porto Dead Sea, a charming 3-star hotel that perfectly balances comfort and affordability. One of the most impressive features of this property is its lovely beach area on the Dead Sea shore. Porto’s beach stands out as one of the largest in the region, offering plenty of space for sunbathing, swimming, and relaxing without the usual crowding you might find elsewhere. This generous expanse not only provides ample room for various activities but also ensures a high level of privacy, making it an ideal spot for both families and solo travelers seeking some peaceful downtime.
While the pool at Porto Dead Sea is a bit on the smaller side and can become crowded during peak hours, it remains exceptionally clean and well-maintained. This attention to cleanliness is commendable and aligns perfectly with what you would expect from a reputable 3-star hotel. Although the pool area might not offer the vastness of larger resorts, it serves its purpose well for guests looking to take a refreshing dip or lounge by the water.
Dining at Porto Dead Sea is another highlight of the stay. The on-site restaurant, situated right on the beach, offers amazing food with stunning views. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every meal is a pleasant experience. During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying their meat sajeya and barbecue. Both dishes were deliciously prepared with fresh ingredients and evident care, showcasing authentic flavors that truly enhanced our dining experience.
Overall, Porto Dead Sea excels in providing a spacious and private beach area, clean and functional amenities, and excellent dining options—all characteristic of a solid 3-star establishment. While the pool might not be the largest, the overall experience at Porto Dead Sea more than compensates for this minor drawback. Whether you’re visiting for relaxation or to enjoy the unique environment of the Dead Sea, Porto Dead Sea is a fantastic choice that delivers quality and comfort without...

If I could give Porto zero stars, I would. This was, without question, the most disorganized and disrespectful dining experience I have ever encountered.
I am an American traveling from the United States, we made a reservation for 14 people well in advance to ensure a smooth Iftar during Ramadan. Despite this, we arrived to find no table reserved and not enough food available. We drove over an hour expecting a properly planned meal, only to stand around for over 30 minutes while fasting, exhausted, and completely ignored.
The staff couldn’t care less about the inconvenience or the terrible experience inflicted upon us. Not a single glass of water was offered to break our fast. No accommodation, no apology, no attempt to fix their failure. Just incompetence and a complete disregard for their customers. They were only interested in squeezing more money out of us.
To add insult to injury, despite the utter failure in service, they still had the audacity to charge us for valet parking after completely wasting our time and ruining our Iftar.. Eventually, we had to leave and find another restaurant at the last minute, which is unacceptable when a reservation was made in advance.
This establishment is a joke. If you value your time, dignity, and a basic level of service, go...

I was created warmly from entering day one, to exiting day 3. The whole staff aimed to please.
Ahman is the person to pack mud on you, wash you off, and scrub you down with sea salt. He did it with a smile, held intelligent conversation in English, and blessed me with a small bottle of mud and salt to take home. I was more then happy to tip him twice.
