I recently spent a memorable weekend at Porto Dead Sea, a charming 3-star hotel that perfectly balances comfort and affordability. One of the most impressive features of this property is its lovely beach area on the Dead Sea shore. Porto’s beach stands out as one of the largest in the region, offering plenty of space for sunbathing, swimming, and relaxing without the usual crowding you might find elsewhere. This generous expanse not only provides ample room for various activities but also ensures a high level of privacy, making it an ideal spot for both families and solo travelers seeking some peaceful downtime.

While the pool at Porto Dead Sea is a bit on the smaller side and can become crowded during peak hours, it remains exceptionally clean and well-maintained. This attention to cleanliness is commendable and aligns perfectly with what you would expect from a reputable 3-star hotel. Although the pool area might not offer the vastness of larger resorts, it serves its purpose well for guests looking to take a refreshing dip or lounge by the water.

Dining at Porto Dead Sea is another highlight of the stay. The on-site restaurant, situated right on the beach, offers amazing food with stunning views. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every meal is a pleasant experience. During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying their meat sajeya and barbecue. Both dishes were deliciously prepared with fresh ingredients and evident care, showcasing authentic flavors that truly enhanced our dining experience.

Overall, Porto Dead Sea excels in providing a spacious and private beach area, clean and functional amenities, and excellent dining options—all characteristic of a solid 3-star establishment. While the pool might not be the largest, the overall experience at Porto Dead Sea more than compensates for this minor drawback. Whether you’re visiting for relaxation or to enjoy the unique environment of the Dead Sea, Porto Dead Sea is a fantastic choice that delivers quality and comfort without...

Absolutely Disgraceful – Avoid at All Costs

If I could give Porto zero stars, I would. This was, without question, the most disorganized and disrespectful dining experience I have ever encountered.

I am an American traveling from the United States, we made a reservation for 14 people well in advance to ensure a smooth Iftar during Ramadan. Despite this, we arrived to find no table reserved and not enough food available. We drove over an hour expecting a properly planned meal, only to stand around for over 30 minutes while fasting, exhausted, and completely ignored.

The staff couldn’t care less about the inconvenience or the terrible experience inflicted upon us. Not a single glass of water was offered to break our fast. No accommodation, no apology, no attempt to fix their failure. Just incompetence and a complete disregard for their customers. They were only interested in squeezing more money out of us.

To add insult to injury, despite the utter failure in service, they still had the audacity to charge us for valet parking after completely wasting our time and ruining our Iftar.. Eventually, we had to leave and find another restaurant at the last minute, which is unacceptable when a reservation was made in advance.

This establishment is a joke. If you value your time, dignity, and a basic level of service, go...

I was recommended to come to Porto Dead Sea through my co workers at Tabuk University. I'm very pleased that I took their advise. Being that they knew I'm from the USA, we expect the best, and something more Westernize in order to feel more at home.

I was created warmly from entering day one, to exiting day 3. The whole staff aimed to please.

Ahman is the person to pack mud on you, wash you off, and scrub you down with sea salt. He did it with a smile, held intelligent conversation in English, and blessed me with a small bottle of mud and salt to take home. I was more then happy to tip him twice.

The hotel failed to put hair conditioner in my room. Please make sure you bring some from home. The dead sea will kill your hair. I thought I was going to have keep a hat on . But . . . Mary came to the rescue!!!! She walk to her room and gladly gave me some of hers. Wow! BFF from there one. Mary took care of me throughout the rest of my stay. Ordered me an hour massage at the Hilton with discount. Oookkkkkk!!

The bartender / waiter aimed to please me with hus knowledge of booze. Can you say Shots, shots, shots!!! Lol, lol, lol.

All and all, I need not say anymore. Will I come...

Our stay at Porto Dead Sea was fantastic! The food and service were amazing, rooms comfortable, and the location was super convenient, just steps away from the Dead Sea. A big shout-out to bartender Andrew for his exceptional service. Kudos to the entire staff for making our stay so memorable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel like cherished guests from the moment we arrived. Every request, no matter how small, was met with a smile and a genuine willingness to make our experience exceptional. This level of service is what transforms a good stay into an unforgettable one. Every meal felt like a culinary adventure, a testament to the skill and dedication of the chefs. Location-wise, Porto Dead Sea couldn't have been better situated. Its proximity to the Dead Sea made our visit incredibly comfortable.

terrible hotel, service. Especially 2 managers, a girl and a man, I don’t know their names, they didn’t even introduce themselves. Unfinished hotel, dirty and bad attitude towards Russians. They ask you to pay for your alcohol. The male manager asked personal questions, confusing personal with business. This hotel left a bad impression. The food is tasteless. The beach is dirty and there are no sun loungers. But I will note the massage therapist who was on the beach and did a free massage, thank you very much ☺️ I will never return to this hotel again. This hotel has 0 stars. I am a popular Russian blogger and I travel all over the world, this was the worst hotel I have ever been to.

Can't think of any other word to describe this Hotel, Porto Dead Sea , is an amazing place to stay, traveling from Florida to the Dead Sea, we found this amazing Hotel Porto! Breakfast was so so delicious, everything fresh, the bread came right off the oven, Mr. Andrew the Manager amazingly helpful and so polite to us. The service was just the best 100 kudos to all of them! The pools are in great shape, with umbrellas and towels for everyone to be more comfortable. Mud from the Dead Sea made our morning complete! If you are visiting the Dead Sea, I personally highly recommend Porto Dead Sea Hotel! There not even 1 small complain about them. Everything is perfectly amazing!
