I was transiting through Almaty and had about 7 hours layover. With 24 hours travel ahead of me I simply wanted to shower and rest in a comfortable bed. Transit Almaty was the perfect location - 20 minutes walking from the airport with a friendly staff (who was very responsive and booked a room from me via chat inside 2GIS app), outstandingly quiet room and a hot shower. Big plus I could book it for only 6 hours (that’s what I needed!) for only $16! The only downside is their Wi Fi - it was very slow, I could barely register for my next flight. I had to call my local friend and make her wire them. The worst part is they came to wake me up at exactly 24 hour mark. I opened the door and told them that I already extended the stay. They come back one hour later to wake me up! I didn’t get sleep at all all night. Left for the airport two and half hours before...
