Salut Hotel Almaty — Hotel in Almaty

Make my trip is pathetic holiday provider more importantly Salut Hotel we took a package of 3friends to Almaty and we regret and I will never ever buy anything from makemy trip nobody is here to help us, though we had 2rooms bookings at Salut they gave us only one room and two small bed and everyday we are paying 25k for one room. Per night Plus they showed it as 4 star hotel I would rate it below 2star. This hotel is outside the city I don’t find support from anybody and worst is the receptionist very rude and not willing to listen on the pretext that they don’t speak English actually the receptionist told me to vacate the hotel at @10.00PM and even more started banging at my door at 12.30 am when I was in deep sleep. They have not cleaned the room for 3days we ask for water they don’t provide when we tried to communicate with the hotel on our face she told us to leave the hotel. We arrived at 2.:30PM iand they provided us room at 8.00PM kept us waiting VVV Bad experience...

I am stunned that this hotel has an average rating of more than 4. It doesn't even deserve two stars. We were in a double room with a bed less than a queen sized one. They had to be reminded again and again to provide bed sheets and towels, shampoo etc for two people in the room as they kept only one. The electric kettle was dirty smeared with dust that could be lifted with a finger and broken. The curtain on the windows was torn and was not able to close out the light coming in. The room was musty and smelt bad. Breakfast was average. The elevator was too small to accommodate more than 2 people with luggage. The housekeeping staff was slow and unresponsive. They took the keys to clean the room but no cleaning was done during our stay there. They just replaced the towel. The staff don't speak or understand English at all so you have to use Google translate at all times. Overall a miserable...

Really good sized rooms but the cleanliness of them wasnt great! They needed a good hoover! Staff were nice. Gym was a bit rubbish as the treadmil didnt work. A good sized breakfast in the morning. The worst part for me was the restless night sleeps.... people would be very loud early hours of the morning, staff and their walkie talkies, moving tables in the restaurant at 2am, the trolley that they used to cart things back and fourth to the kitchen sounded like there was a tram going past. They also didnt come change towels or clean until much later in the day so after work, i would be in the shower and hear banging on my door! My colleague even had a cleaner just walk in on him whilst he was getting changed. Very strange. Has real potential though. Lovely bug rooms! Dont have any vegetarian options in the restaurant....
