I liked this place. The rooms were clean, the bed pretty hard, so standard by Asian standards. I stayed for 10 days and moved from the first floor with no view to an upper floor, which was nicer. The breakfasts are relatively rudimentary but good coffee. The Gym is basis with a few machines and treadmills. No pool. The aircon is okay. I found the staff very helpful in a typically Kazakh way. I was very happy when I mislaid my Jade pendant and it was handed in so I got it back. Of course the rate is quite reasonable. The other meals are okay with the beer a wee bit over-priced. Nice dumpling place and Irish Pub near. About 4km to the University and a bit less to downtown. They also found for me a non-allegenic covering; the standard being duck down. Currently, as with much of Nur-Sultan, the street is under construction. Also on major bus routes and easy to get around for around 180 Tenge; also taxis cheap. I...

Special thanks to Adelit, Diyas and Adema on the front desk, (and others who didn't have a name badge), and those providing the support at the breakfast buffet. As mentioned the area is developing, as is the city, but it was easy to get around and the people everywhere were very helpful and friendly too. As with as number of destination, just watch out for the taxi drivers, they are not metered and the price needs be negotiated...
