The rooms smelled strongly of previous occupants. Only after insisting on a change of bed linen did I get a relatively clean room. The toilet bowl was cracked nevertheless and the sink seriously stained. The archaic television was unplugged and remained so given that the plug did not match with the sockets in the room. The food is à la carte and is reasonably good but can be better if fresher produce is used, especially tomatoes.The tea cups were dirty and had dried tea stains three times over, no less. The waitresses may be hard of hearing because they must be called via hand signals and not loud voices. The check-in attendant must however be commended as being in a class of her own.
