Joventure Hotel Limited — Hotel in City of Kisumu

I booked a double room but on arrival, I was given a tiny single room with no proper ventilation, no AC, and no fan. On enquiry, one of the staff tried to gaslight me that it was a double room but I could clearly see the bed was like a 3½ by 6. There was only one bottle of water and one drinking glass. If indeed it was a double room, shouldn't we have gotten two of each? I noticed there was some kind of conference going on so there were many guests staying at the hotel and they probably gave out my room to someone else (I'd booked mine a month prior). All my efforts to get an upgrade were futile as the staff kept on taking me in circles whenever I asked whom I could speak to for assistance. Super glad I'd only booked for one night and wanted to confirm if the rooms were worth it before booking my entire stay (3 nights). Otherwise, I'd have regretted this 10 times. Terrible customer service, ugly a$$ room. Even the studio BnB I opted for after being disappointed by Joventure Hotel was waaaaay better and more than worth its price. 0/10 experience. Wouldn't recommend.

Joventure Hotel hotel is a clean medium sized located along KONDELE kibos road.
