Lila hotel kisumu — Hotel in City of Kisumu

Most if not all people understand why Christopher Columbus was well revered, if you don't know I ain't mind enlighten you albeit brief. It was chiefly because of expeditious Odysseys. I don't wish in any way to equate myself to CC, however, my experience here at Lila Hotel is incredibly awesome. From the manner in which communication was done timely when making our reservations for rooms. Fact that messages are able to be responded to pretty quick isn't something I can take lightly owing to the number of times I've been disappointed in some hotels when attempting to reach out. The receptionist, allow me to christen you an angel: her name Beryl, her character so rare yet charming and enchanting at the same time; may you succeed beyond imagining. The price is pocket friendly and the hotel. The rooms were clean but a bit noisy at night because of the bar that is located in the hotel. The staff were also not understandable and lacked the understanding that comes with handling a client. All food was made on order, you couldn't walk to their restaurant and order something and have it immediately, it had to be prepared for an hour. Tea and coffee are served much faster compared to other foods. Then the wait staff didn't seem to know what was in stock so as to advise on what to order they had to go to the kitchen to check then come back...

Visited Lila between 7th and 11th August 2016. I could have stayed longer but on the night of 11th thugs armed with crude weapons stormed the hotel and took all my valuables: laptop, mobile phone, wallet and my tablet and vanished into the night. This hotel doesn't have CCTV this complicates the process of tracing the assailants. I recorded the statement with the police and management tried to help blah blah blah.... I wouldn't advise anybody to visit here until the security concerns...
