Kirathimo Explorer's Oasis — Hotel in Gombato Bongwe ward

My friend and I stayed with Esther for two nights and she is a fantastic host. ||Her place is well located, I don’t need to repeat what others have already said on this.||The accommodation is basic, but as you would expect for the price point, but the room was clean and the beds comfortable. The private pool is fabulous and the setting, with the big baobab tree in the middle of garden, is lovely. Very relaxing.||The main reason we picked Esthers place was due to the reviews about what a great host she was, and on this she exceeded our expectations!! We didn’t have long in Diani, but she told about loads of great places to try and tips on everything from where to buy the best souvenirs through to how much tuk tuks should cost for certain journeys. She also took us for sundowners at a secluded beach and we watched the most amazing sunset (I’ve uploaded a photo of that). I loved my stay at this airbnb/bed and breakfast resort. As an international travelling alone to Diani I must say I felt very safe, welcomed and by the time I left I could even call the host a friend that I look forward to visiting again.||||The place:||Wonderfully made, rooms have a Swahili beach style and showers are hot with fresh and clean towels and sheets. The pool and outside area are my favourite as I spent a lot of time swimming and relaxing. It is very safe with guards protecting the area 24 hours. The location is proximate to all the important sights in Diani.||||The host:||The host, Esther received me very warmly and offered me complimentary drinks upon arrival. The place is very clean and all services available at your fingertips. We stayed at kirathimo for some ten days in February 2019 for a holiday. Compared to our other accomodations arriving at esthers place was like arriving in heaven. The place is so nice and Esther is the most lovely host you can find around Diani. She is always around and tries to make all your wishes come true. ||You can have a great time swimming in the pool (at day and night) enjoying the sunrise at the beach (2 mins walk) getting fat with the amazing food at kirathimo or just hanging around enjoying yourself.||||Dear Esther, stay the way you are, you are just amazing!
