Sizzlers Steak House and Pub — Restaurant in Ukunda ward

Wir waren öfters dort Essen und meistens zufrieden. Diesmal war es GRAUSAM: Wir hatten extra vorab einen Tisch reserviert da wir dort ein Birthday Dinner haben wollten. Als wir ankamen war der Tisch nicht eingedeckt, die Tischdecke dreckig mit Essensresten. Okay uns wurde nachdem wir unsere bestellten Getränke erhalten haben wurde uns bei der Essensbestellung gesagt, dass die ein Problem mit Ihrem Generator. Also keine Pommes, Kein Schnitzel, kein Hühnercurry und keine Leber nicht bestellbar. Wir haben dann uns beraten und wollten lieber woanders hingehen aber die Inhaberin kam nach einiger Zeit und meinte, dass der Koch es irgendwie hinbekommen werde. Okay, wir haben also bestellt: 1x Angus Filetsteak (medium) 2x Wiener Schnitzel vom Schwein 1x gebratene Leber 1x Hühnchen Curry

Das Filetsteak war total WELL DONE, also total TOT und sehnig, die beigefügte Soße war nicht zu erkennen um was es sich dabei handelt, 3 Leute die die Soße getestet haben, meinten es wäre wohl warme mayonaise mit etwas pfeffer :-) Die beiden Wiener Schnitzel waren geschmacklich einfach nur schlecht Die gebratene Leber war sehr hart und geschmacklich einfach nur schlecht Das Hähnchencurry kam nicht wie erwartet mit knochenfreien Bruststücken sondern Hähnchenteile mit Knochen und geschmacklich war es auch nicht wirklich gut.

Wir haben nicht einmal ein Drink aufs Haus bekommen oder eine andere Kleinigkeit obwohl es ein Geburtstag dinner war. Ich denke 4 verschiedene Gerichtige und alle waren nicht gut sprechen für sich, sorry aber wir werden nicht wiederkommen

We have eaten there often and were usually satisfied. This time it was AWFUL: We had reserved a table in advance because we wanted to have a birthday dinner there. When we arrived the table was not set and the tablecloth was dirty with leftover food. Okay, after we received our ordered drinks we were told when ordering food that there was a problem with their generator. So no fries, no schnitzel, no chicken curry and no liver could be ordered. We then consulted and wanted to go somewhere else but the owner came after a while and said that the chef would somehow manage it. Okay, so we ordered: 1x Angus fillet steak (medium) 2x Wiener schnitzel from pork 1x fried liver 1x chicken curry The fillet steak was totally WELL DONE, so totally DEAD and stringy, the sauce that came with it was not recognizable what it was, 3 people who tested the sauce said it was probably warm mayonnaise with a little pepper :-) The two Wiener schnitzels were just bad in terms of taste The fried liver was very hard and just bad in terms of taste The chicken curry did not come with boneless breast pieces as expected but chicken pieces with bones and it didn't taste very good either.

We didn't even get a drink on the house or anything else even though it was a birthday dinner. I think 4 different dishes and none of them were good speak for themselves, sorry but we won't...

We went there to explore Diani a bit, and came at this place. I ordered their ribeye and it came relatively quickly. When I ate it it was very delicious, fries had delicious seasonings and the ribeye also tasted great. The mushroom sauce tasted incredible, i genuinely wouldn't think it would have been so delicious. I was a bit underwhelmed with my visit here. It seems to be a little bit of a drinking spot for a couple of the local foreigners from what I saw. The place looks nice inside, but as it was night I ended up sitting outside watching life. The beef ribs were rather dry and chewy, so I ate what I could and just left the chewy ribs on the plate.
