Enashipai Resort & Spa is a gem nestled in the heart of Naivasha, and my stay here was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, the serene environment and warm hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The resort effortlessly combines luxury, relaxation, and a connection to nature, making it a perfect destination for travellers seeking a rejuvenating escape.

Arrival and First Impressions The welcome I received upon arrival was exceptional. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff’s genuine smiles and professionalism immediately made me feel valued. The resort’s grounds are stunning, with beautifully landscaped gardens, vibrant flowers, and a calming ambience that invites you to unwind when you step in.

Accommodations The rooms are a highlight of Enashipai. They are spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed, and offer an unmatched blend of comfort and style. My room featured elegant décor inspired by African culture, with modern amenities that ensured a luxurious stay. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was spacious with a rain shower and soaking tub, and the private balcony provided breathtaking views of the gardens. Small touches like complimentary fruit baskets and evening turndown service added to the sense of indulgence.

Dining Experience Enashipai’s culinary offerings exceeded my expectations. The breakfast buffet was a feast with many options, including fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes prepared to perfection. Each meal at the restaurant was a delightful experience, with the chefs skillfully blending local and international flavours. The service in the dining areas was impeccable; the staff were attentive without being intrusive, and special dietary needs were catered to with ease.

Spa and Wellness The Siyara Spa was, without a doubt, the crown jewel of my stay. I was enveloped in the sense of tranquillity from the moment I entered. The therapists were highly skilled, and the treatments were world-class. I indulged in a massage that left me feeling completely renewed, and the spa’s serene atmosphere, coupled with soothing music and aromatic scents, made it an unforgettable experience. The heated outdoor pool was another fantastic amenity, perfect for relaxation and a refreshing dip.

Activities and Attractions The resort’s location by Lake Naivasha provides endless opportunities for exploration. I enjoyed a guided boat ride on the lake, which offered stunning views of the surrounding landscape and close encounters with wildlife, including hippos and exotic birds. The nature walk around the property was equally enjoyable, as the knowledgeable guides shared fascinating insights about the local flora and fauna. The resort can arrange excursions to nearby attractions like Hell’s Gate National Park for those seeking adventure.

Service and Hospitality What truly sets Enashipai apart is its exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The conference facilities are state-of-the-art, and the resort’s blend of leisure and amenities makes it versatile. It makes the children an excellent addition to families. At the same time, the well-equipped gym ensures fitness enthusiasts don’t miss a workout.

Final Thoughts My stay at Enashipai Resort & Spa was everything I hoped for and more. Our family (7 adults + 3 young kids) stayed in a villa for 2 nights over New Year's Eve and had the best time! Not only did the staff make our stay incredibly accommodating, the plethora of activities, and the elaborate meals offered so many options every day. We certainly needed another day to enjoy it all.

The food quality was beyond what we've experienced in the Mara, Mombasa, and Amboseli resorts. The spa was beyond relaxing, and the lighting + aromas of peppermint inside the spa building instantly calmed. We loved the live music at lunches and dinners, and the NYE celebration was a blast!

We had some rainy weather but the staff made every effort to keep us dry and safe from slipping. The kids play area + poolside activities were phenomenal and we've never seen such an inclusive resort environment for families with kids of all ages.

The cherry on top was that I left my jacket on a chair by the pool before checking out and after making only 2 calls to the resort, they had the jacket sent to me by courier in Nairobi within 24 hours.

This hotel is everything and more!!!

The only recommendations I'd make to help make Enashapai even better would be:

1. get more electric golf carts to shuttle families from place to place, as the resort is quite large - electric carts are less polluting and less noisy.
2. offer some basic (plastic) dishes/cutlery/cups in the villas to make the full kitchens usable
3. install some baby changing stations in...

Enashipai Resort & Spa is an awesome hotel whose ambience is breath taking. At the main gate, one is enchanted by the guards' hospitality. Their welcoming spirit as they open the gate with a warm "Jambo!", which is a Swahili word for "Hello!".

This welcoming spirit stays with you as you drive down a beautiful driveway, lined up with trees and beautiful flowers on both sides.

Another guard welcomes you at the ample parking lot and ushers you to the reception area. Here, a huge welcome awaits you, leaving not a shred of doubt that your choice for Enashipai Resort & Spa Hotel was spot on.

The staff are pleasant, cheerful and friendly. The same can be said for their waiters. The cuisines are sumptuous and mouth watering.

One can opt to take long walks around the beautiful spacious grounds whose foot paths are cabro-paved. It can also be fun renting a bicycle to ride around.

From the hotel, one can opt for a ten minutes walk to lake Naivasha. Here, the scenery is eye-catching. While on a boat ride to an island a short distance away, fun lovers can enjoy a spectacular game view for herds of hippo families, impalas and monkeys. A glimpse of these rare majestic world species is a site to behold.
