Before I start. This is just a review for the accommodation not the park itself.||Pros:|Breakfast is amazing|Beds are super comfortable |You wake up and there are zebras roaming|A tour of the centre was included in accommodation price||That’s about it||Cons:|Water doesn’t work. When it does it’s just a trickle.|Tents are in dire need of an update, half the straps in mine used for the windows were snapped.|Broken tiles, exposed wires in shower, etc|Pool wasn’t in a fit state to be used |I was told dinner was included. When I come to check out I’m told it wasn’t. So I left on a bad note. I wasn’t even hungry and if I knew it wasn’t included I wouldn’t have bothered.|Lunch - Do NOT order the pizza. Took an hour to arrive and when it did it was dry and burnt. Nearly £10 too!! ||I am travelling by myself and I was soooo excited to stay at this place. I was disappointed at best before the check out debacle now I’m just angry.||Honestly. Just close down the accommodation, if not fully, just in the low season because it’s clear that a lot needs doing before this is a functioning accommodation.||All these are little things that could easily be sorted and I could excuse if one or two happened but…I’m just bitterly...
Read moreWe didn't stay there but we took the day tour with the giraffe lunch for 100 dollars. To be honest, we didn't have to pay extra as the giraffes come to you in the canopied area if you're eating anyway amd that would have been 30 dollars instead. The food was a bit meh, there was no soup, we ordered the pineapple and avocado salad and when they brought them to us, they said there was no avocado. There was no ice cream which we had ordered too and the drinks were warm, we asked for ice cubes for our water and beer. I feel that for the amount charged, we could have for a better deal. However, it was a good experience, we fed zebras and giraffes and saw quite a few animals. They were not all caged and most were roaming free which was nice to see. The staff care for their animals and that was plain to see. The masai put on a little dance but wanted 50 dollars for a few trinkets which was ridiculous. Overall, we enjoyed it kore than...
Read moreWho knew a random visit to @boraboradianiwildlife would turn into such an adventure! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was on my own personal safari (minus the scary predators, thank goodness).
The staff? Absolute legends—they’re so passionate about protecting wildlife, they had me reconsidering my life choices. I mean, maybe I should become a full-time giraffe whisperer?
The animals? Let’s just say I’ve never related more to a tortoise—chill, unbothered, living its best life. And don’t get me started on the zebras; one tried to bite me…i didn’t even know they could do that😂
The work they’re doing here is absolutely amazing. It’s not just a visit—it’s an education, a laugh, and a reminder of how much we should appreciate and protect nature. If you’re ever in Diani, skip the ordinary tourist stuff and head here. You’ll leave with a full heart, a few hilarious monkey selfies, and maybe, just maybe, a new...
