Hotel is in the middle of the Kitale town...it does not offer ground transfers from the Kitale airstrip to or from the hotel. (20km away)... you have to look for your own means. (very stone age management ).||||The manager himself (Phillip) reports late every morning, and insists that you wait for him before checking out...else they'll hold you hostage at the hotel or at the parking n you may very easily miss your flight. (almost missed my flight were it not for the kind pilot who waited 20min for me enroute to Nairobi).||||The food is over oily, and the rooms have a policy that you pay kshs 200 for a bloody TV remote control (stone age mentality).||||Beds blankets are never washed and stink stuffiness when you're there. I had to remove mine eve'rynight I was sleeping.||||The balcony to the room is always locked and the room remains stuffy throughout. The toilets don't flush properly, and the wardrobe leave your clothes with dump smell.||||The overall service is low...and very stone age ideas...no buffet..so you order food that takes 1hr to prepare. ||||The chicken on my first day was hard and old...n the juice not fresh.||||.......||||N to top it all, the manager will call on security at you if you check out before he arrives (yet he himself is the late one!!!)||||Pathetic and...

The food is average and you have to pay extra for bacon, and they ONLY serve passion juice.||||The TVs do not have remote controls so you have to get up to switch it off and the bedside switch does not work, so you have to get up to for that too.||||There is no lift to get to the rooms so you'll need to work out quite a bit and as such you should avoid if you...

Food was average but Nyama Choma was really good. They have 2 bars but I liked the one on the second floor, it is quiet and and the ambiance was warm. Being at the center of the CBD, you are able to move around easily either night or day. If you are staying there for long you will...
