Such a lovely place, but run so bad by the manager! We've been here trice before, since they only had 4 simple, but charming makuti cottages. Now they have 8 brick ones and a pool. Unfortunately the door didn't close at 5 of them, one didn't have water pressure and another broken toilet seat... First day we waited over 2 hours for breakfast as the manager hadn't informed the worker. Next day we didn't get breakfast, though the manager lied us up in our face twice telling he ordered gas and it was on its way from Malindi which is 30 min away. After 3 hours we just had to give up getting breakfast there... (There is nothing nearby except for beautiful sand dunes, without transport and not allowed to bring food from outside). When we booked we clearly asked if they had a pool now, which was confirmed before we booked. On the 5th day, manager via the nice waitresses, suddenly demanded money for using the pool. He was as usual hanging at the owners mansion next to the pool, not man enough to talk to us directly. This place has so much potential, but it feels like the new manager don't like...
