This here hotel is one of the most hidden gems yet in plain sight on the Nakuru-Subukia road....wait,let's not go too far,if you are at the shell petrol station on the Nakuru-nairobi road, turn left and it's within a kilometer after the first bump...directions done, onwards to the hotel...rooms,spacious well lit with a balcony that overlooks..er,well the parking..Still some rooms don't have a balcony, enquire if you intend to stay for more than a night. The bed...in summary,if they were not gracious enough to extend the breakfast time till way over 10 oclock, let's just say you would miss breakfast...till the day you check out!....the cons-you have to really gauge how much water to release on the shower to maintain the heater otherwise it cuts off,u don't want a cold shower...no!,cheap toilet paper-not that I care too much but you don't want to flush then the paper just stares at you!Dining room-dear goodness,I'm not one to shy from hauling leg but 5th floor... didn't see forced cardio on the menu..administrators say the lift will be operational soon, just like the two floors that are incomplete, and the first floor restaurant...soon,well a few regulars say that has been a song now...all in all, lovely bed, great view of the lake from the dining room(5th floor via stairs 💀! #@§*!) and friendly staff...definately be coming back.oh yes..how much you ask?...2000kshs bed only, throw in 500kshs for breakfast,it's worth it.

This is one of the best budget hotels I have been to. The rooms are remarkable with good quality furniture and beddings. The bathrooms are very clean with great tiling. However, there are some older rooms that don't look as good as the others. You want to avoid the rooms at the far end 6 and 5. They are next to the road and you will not be able to sleep. The best rooms are on the other end 1, 2 and 8, 9, 10. The rooms fill up quick especially the budget single and double beds. It's best to book early if you plan on sleeping here. Call or early in the day. Singles are 1200, double 1500, deluxe double 2000 and executive 2400. The hotel is located on Bahati road on the Nyeri-Nakuru highway. The only disadvantage with this hotel is that they don't include breakfast in their charges. Instead it's a separate charge, a whopping 400Ksh. You are probably better off getting breakfast elsewhere. The hotel is easily accessible from town by one of the hundreds of taxis in Nakuru town or public transport vans(matatus). Just ask and you should be able to find them

The Blue bay hotel along Nakuru- Nyahururu is a modern and elegantly designed 3-star hotel with breakfast and 24-hour front desk, located road 500 metres from Nakuru- Nairobi highway. It features decent executive rooms with ensuite bathrooms. The rooms have reading table, Dstv satellite T.V and hot shower. It has ample parking space that can upto 15/20 cars. This being a resident restaurant, you can enjoy your favorite delicacies.

This hotel I come several times and it's getting down.|The price is still good. But I hear they steal the laptops, phones, parfums, and money out the rooms. The locks on the doors are so cheap everybody can open this doors in a few seconds. I tell the management about this locks and the looks arogand back and say nothing back. Also many key can used in another door. And the whole night it's very noisy sounds from inside the hotel. And nobody from hotel tel the loudness people to keep silently. Inside the rooms and badrooms broken but nobody start repairs. The security is getting down to also the workers same management are very lazy and sit the whole day. I will see how's next time.|Best advice take care your bagage and don't...
