North Coast Beach Hotel — Hotel in Mtepeni ward

The overall stay was not bad and generally it's worth the visit. If you're conflicted about going there, you may consider it if it fits your budget. Here's our experience:

THE BAD The rooms are spacious but the washrooms could use some maintenance. They've got some limescale on the metallic parts

Our room did not have WiFi. Signal was too weak. Reported twice but was not sorted

Food and utensils in the restaurant were always running out and you have to wait for the next round of dishes and food to come

The hotel provided baby cribs and feeding chairs for babies which is good, but the cribs were not foldable (they were wooden) which means you'll be doomed to stay on the ground floor if you'll need a crib (the cribs can't fit the narrow stairs). The feeding chair was also not friendly because it had no way to open it up so you can place the child safely. You have to force the child into the seat which hurt the baby's legs while she was trying to get in

The hotel logo could use a rework. It's not very appealing

THE GOOD The activities during the day and during dinner time are good and they engage the guests. That's a good touch to the experience. The hotel really tries here, and the staff seem to enjoy what they're doing

Despite the challenges earlier mentioned with the room, on a positive note the rooms were quite spacious and tidy and each had an extra bed

The beach is not crowded at all, even during peak season. This is very good

Spending a week at North Coast Beach Hotel was nothing short of magical a true escape into paradise. From the moment I arrived, the refreshing sea breeze instantly swept away all the stress of city life, welcoming me into a world of peace, pleasure, and pure coastal charm.

The meals were an absolute culinary delight. Every dish was a celebration of flavor, with a rich blend of coastal and international cuisines. Whether it was the freshly grilled seafood or the tropical fruits served with breakfast, each bite left me craving more.

The swimming pool quickly became one of my favorite spots. Sparkling clean and beautifully designed, it offered the perfect balance of relaxation and fun. Whether I was swimming under the sun or lounging by the poolside with a cocktail, it was a slice of heaven.

Evenings were vibrant and full of life, thanks to the live band entertainment that set the perfect mood. With soulful melodies and upbeat rhythms, the music breathed energy into the night, bringing guests together in dance and joy. And just when you thought the night couldn’t get better, the acrobats took over graceful, daring, and absolutely breathtaking. Their performances were unforgettable and kept everyone at the edge of their seats.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ North Coast Beach Hotel! A HEARTFELT EXPERIENCE!

We visited with my older parents, and they felt genuinely cared for.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such genuine warmth by the Front Desk Manager and the Receptionist.

My kids didn’t want to leave—they had so much to do! Between the pool, beach, darts, table tennis, group exercises, gym, and spa, they were never bored.

Any minor issues that came up were handled quickly and professionally.

Every staff member we encountered was kind, respectful, and incredibly attentive—hospitality here isn’t just a job, it’s clearly a Culture!

We came to celebrate my mum’s birthday, and the team made it unforgettable—taking time to sing, dance, and celebrate with us in the most heartfelt way.

The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with thoughtful little touches from the housekeeping team that truly impressed us.

The beach was calm, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing.

The food was fresh, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with care. The restaurant team left just as lasting an impression as the meals themselves.
