Edaala Comfort — Hotel in Nairobi

We took Nairobi as base for traveling in Kenya, even though we were not interested in the city, so it was an excellent choice this amazing place. Close to airport, easy access to uber (and uber eats) , located in a residential area close to Giraffe center and mostly excellent place to rest in the garden or inside of the cabin. Sometimes we had the cabin only for us, another time you need to share the living room without any issue and last time we were hosted inside main house. I really enjoyed my time at Edaala Comfort. The cottage was adorable and surprisingly affordable. The location is in upscale Karen and convenient to both the giraffe center and Shelldrick Elephant nursery.

Vasant was extremely helpful during my stay. I needed to get a large bag of donations to Arusha, Tanzania, and he helped me to accomplish that by putting it on a bus for me after I had left.

+++English version below+++ Die Unterkunft kann nur eine riesige Empfehlung sein. Ben und Jane sind riesig tolle Gastgeber. Sie sind immer ansprechbar und helfen wo sie nur können. Am ersten Tag habe ich mir (woanders) den Magen verdorben und Ben war einfach der Liebste. Morgens um 6 Wasser bringen und extra dafür zu sorgen, dass wir unsere Cottage für uns alleine haben ist bei weitem nicht selbstverständlich. Die Frühstückszeiten haben sind nach uns gerichtet und wir habe (es wurde ziemlich kalt nachts) abends heiße Wärmflaschen gebracht bekommen. Der einzig etwas negativer Punkt könnte sein, dass fußläufig nicht viel ist. Dafür sind alle wichtigen touristischen Attraktionen schnell mit dem Uber erreichbar. Bei dem Verkehr in Nairobi ist das super wichtig. Zusammenfassend: Eine absolute Empfehlung. Die meisten Gäste hier sind nicht zum ersten Mal da und auch wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. The accommodation can only be highly recommended. Ben and Jane are fantastic hosts. They are always approachable and help wherever they can. On the first day I had an upset stomach (from eating somewhere else) and Ben was simply the sweetest Host! Bringing water at 6 in the morning and making sure, we have our cottage to ourselves is by no means a given. Breakfast times were arranged around us and we were brought hot water bottles in the evening (it got pretty cold at night). The only negative point could be that there is not much within walking distance. However, all the important tourist attractions can be reached quickly by Uber.
