This is a reasonable hotel for a single visitor passing through town. It's cheap for a single room, relative to Sportsman Arms, Kirinyaga Springs, or Old House. The food is decent, but vegetarian options are pretty meager. Do not go for the breakfast when you get the room, as you can pick from a wide variety of breakfast foods in the morning (including the same 500 KES deluxe breakfast). The kitchen noise can be a bit much in the central atrium. The rooms are comfortable enough for me. The Wi-Fi worked when I was there (over 5 days). I wish there was a bit more natural light during the daytime. It is really nice to have a bar in the hotel, and the whole place feels secure. There is parking, but I have not yet used it. If you're a foreigner, I would recommend this hotel if you have stayed in Kenyan-style hotels before or do not need to be pampered. I have stayed here twice (2014; 2018), both times...

Honestly, the room was ideal.
