Koselig Homes — Hotel in Nanyuki

During my travels to Nanyuki a recommendation was made to stay at Koselig Homes. Let me first start off by saying that this place is very accommodating and hospitable stay. Apart from feeling extremely safe the place is one stop shop since they have a restaurant called Pine & Dine, a Sports Bar by the name Hyrax 21 and tours and travel companies just in case you are mountain trekker (Mt Kenya is just kilometers away). The rooms are so cute with some artistic touches here and there. In fact, appreciated the subtle touches. Like the refrigerator and the double mirror in the room. Luckily I was able to experience a brunch at the restaurant and let me tell you it was a vibe. From the ambience to the Adirondack chair and table outside the room, the atmosphere was very welcoming and attended to. The staff was more than welcoming I felt very comfortable. It is conveniently located up the street from the Cedar mall which allowed me to shop and explore without venturing too far away from the place. Walking distance 5 minutes I'd say. From the food too the accommodations all in all I give a 10/10 and would definitely recommend the Koselig Homes to anyone visiting Nanyuki. Koselig Homes, une maison...

I had a wonderful stay at Koselig Homes, all thanks to Jackie who facilitated everything so smoothly. She was on point with communication and made sure I checked in safely — even though I arrived at midnight!

The location? Ideal. It’s right in the heart of Nanyuki town, but you wouldn’t know it. The place gives serious out-of-town vibes — there’s even a river flowing right through the area. That really sold it for me.

Koselig is perfect for a budget-friendly staycation, with a few surprises up its sleeve — a swimming pool, zipline, and even high ropes for the adventurous. And yes, I’ll mention the river again because… it’s that good.

There’s also HQ ya Marafiki — a chill little hangout spot within the compound where I got to meet and vibe with a few new faces. Definitely the kind of place that makes you feel at home while still feeding your sense of adventure.

Would I go back? For sure. Might even bring more marafiki...
