BREEZE HOTEL NYAHURURU — Hotel in Nyahururu

It's important to understand, for travelers to Laikipia County, and specifically Breeze Hotel in Nyahururu, that customer relations and communication is very challenged. The staff at the hotel appear poorly trained, uncoordinated. Public health awareness or policy, and hygiene at the hotel are poor. For example, we stayed in the town for a few months, and used the Breeze hotel gym on occasion. One gym instructor left, and the new one has, as of this writing, extensive fungal infection in the whole body. he has now worked there for months, with the management's awareness of has condition. He wears a hoodie with top up full time to cover up from gym customers. When the hotel management were contacted, they dismissed the implication, later claimed to have provided the gym worker medication and kept him on the job, without informing gym customers, regardless of health safety policy, which probably doesn't exist, or is not enforced by the government. Some of the gym customers left. The hotel didn't care. ||It's important to know that fungal infections are rampant in Nyahururu township and poorly understood by the locals, poorly treated or not at all. Whole-body fungal infections are openly common among street vendors, public vehicle operators and locals. One must take extreme caution while visiting Breeze Hotel, and especially to avoid the gym, and insist on fresh bedspreads upon check-in, and perhaps take preventive antifungal (prophylactic) medication before or...

The reception was great service good but though the room and beddings were clean, there was a musty smell in the bathroom. The worst was loud music all mostofthenight , noise from the kitchen and what I assumed to be the laundry room and noisy and rowdy guests. I couldn't sleep, I felt like I was sleeping in a bar. Towards morning again I was woken by the loud disco music. How can a hotel with residential rooms be so insensitive to the guests comfort. I didn't have any visit there due to unskillful personnel. I had made a booking, received confirmation for my arrival time. They told that they are fully booked. Never received any contact to cancel booking if they were fully booked. Personnel didn't have courage to tell me what went wrong. Obviously they just booked rooms without telling to cooperative partners. Online booking site confirmed my stay and hotel confirmed my arrival times on the same day.
