Laikipia Comfort Hotel — Hotel in Nyahururu

The cleanliness is top notch. All white bedding and towels. clean room, no dust, no residual smells of previous occupants. its very clean. Extra bedding available if the Nyahururu cold bites. Didnt need extra bedding and was warm enough...The windows do not open but the vents above the window can bring in a bit of draught being near a road, the noise was minimal. They could do better with the tiny soaps and perhaps change to non scented shower gels. The TVs in the premises can do with upgrades. Meals were ok. Large servings. breakfast was ok too. served buffet style. the staff are polite and helpful. reasonably priced. easy to book and reserve (they did not need a deposit) Wifi available but weak. Not disability friendly. (From entrance to rooms). Be ready to climb stairs up to the 4th floor! parking available at the front of the hotel. This hotel is in the middle of Nyahururu town. The location is very convenient and is right along the road. The rooms are relatively small and if you are one for space, this will leave you feeling quite claustrophobic.

The TVs in the rooms are pretty much decorative and nothing substantial is ever showing on them. This being in addition to the fact that the residents have no control over what channel show in the TVs in their rooms.

The food however is one of the hotels shining points. Far as it may be from gourmet, the food has the feel of a home cooked meal and gives your belly and soul a familial warmth. The staff work as if they individually own the hotel and you can rest assured that the service will be top notch.

The price point is as humble as the establishment and it's services with the largest rooms hardly going past KShs. 3,500/-.

The staff were very friendly. Kudos!! Their breakfast is okay. Their food is not bad. The rooms are clean.

The reason I give them a 2 star review is because:- I ordered food and was served the wrong order. So I had to pay more. I paid a deposit and was to pat the full amount on checkout but the receptionist called me at 9pm asking me to pay then I was very scared they might come and throw me out at night. Not very good service there Comfort. Their WiFi is just a name and you can barely use it. I had to go to Breeze Hotel to work from there. The bathroom to my room had a broken handle, the bathroom was too small I was afraid water would overflow to the room...
