Sai Inn Eldoret — Hotel in Racecourse ward

This was literally a last minute overnight stay towards the end of April. Mercy responded positively to all queries especially related to availability hot running water, availability of Wi-Fi and bath towels and promised to hold on to the rooms until our arrival. We arrived around 10pm and were permitted to view the 4 rooms booked for our party of 7 and upon satisfaction we checked in. Breakfast was limited as we were last minute guests. We found all the staff helpful, kind and friendly. Parking is available within the gated compound. The beds were comfortable and managed a good sleep without noticing any traffic noise. I've stayed at Sai Inn severally over the last two years, I find it convenient and clean enough for the traveller seeking a clean and quiet location for a night or two. It certainly helps that the staff are always so friendly and professional. The location, being just off the highway makes it a convenient overnight stop. My only recommendation would be, maybe the management can be more keen on maintenance of the facilities, during my last visit, I had to contend with cold showers as the instant shower was not working, I was a little concerned that it was not repaired during the duration of my stay, even though I wasn't in the room the whole day, I'd assumed they would take care of it then as it's not a huge task to change an instant shower head. We were a group of 9 Ugandans and had been in Kenya for a week. We spent almost the entire day exploring Lake Nakuru national park and we thought we would travel back to Uganda . We however reached Eldoret city by 8:00 pm. On reaching Eldoret city, we decided to have an overnight stay in the city. We found Sai Inn as the best hotel. It's price friendly, extremely clean and with friendly and courteous staff. We were served with nice food for dinner and our breakfast was served very early as per our request.
