Global African Apart-Hotel — Hotel in Shimo La Tewa ward

The worst hotel i have ever slept in in east and central africa. You will bear me witness if you ever get lied to and find yourself here. There advertisment nd all they say about the hotel is a lie, first of all wifi? Thats a big lie, not even a hint of wifi is available. The apartments are lousy, the toliets stink, the joke of a mini fridge they claim to put there doesnt work. They claim to offer cooking facility but charge u extra amount to allow you to cook or even give you the gas to cook with. The place is dirty, word from the workers, they clean rooms after three days. The showers are broken and the worst part, the owner of the hotel /director is ever drank and VERY VERY VERY RUDE TO CLIENTS. sleep there at your own risk. How does a director/owner drink in her business and talk to customers drank, she can barely stand straight. After all you are desperate enough to call, book and sleep in her hotel. Great and affordable place to stay in Mtwapa. Great atmosphere on Saturdays with live band. Meals are ok and loved the king fish especially. A bit noisy in the surroundings from various entertainment venues and nearby hotels. Felt quite safe and owner lives on site so ensures everything is spot on. Payment is by cash or MPesa which is convenient if you have the facility. Apparently, they had card payment and machine faulty- bank yet to rectify.
